We are excited to announce the details for our annual 24 hour challenge.
This year the fun will begin in Preston and end at our base 24 hours later in Parbold.
We will be walking between blue light stations, military organisations and clubs to raise awareness about the effects of mental trauma and to discuss what we and other organisations can do for individuals and their families who need support.
We will commence at 1500 on Friday… 28th September and invite anybody to join us whether it be for a mile, a section or for the whole 24 hours.
During daylight hours we will be walking with a pony and a dog to highlight that we use animals within our courses and respite days. Our support crew will swop in new ponies and dogs at various points
The first 24 hour challenge involved one person riding, the second involved nearly fifty people walking up and down a hill with a stretcher. This time we aim to have a hundred people.
Please share this to any group or person that you think would want to join.
Scouts, guides, cadets, schools, youth groups, fitness groups, work groups, Duke of Edinburgh groups.
We need to team together to highlight all of the positive things that can be done to support people that need help. You can choose to fundraise or simply join in and help raise awareness.
Choose your time or distance or the full 24 hour challenge, you decide.
