In late December we had the pleasure of hosting our walk through nativity and Christmas celebration after a year off due to the pandemic.
With the help and support of an amazing team of volunteers we welcomed 88 children and 168 adults through the course of the afternoon. Each child went home with a bag of presents for them to open on Christmas day and many parents also got bags of presents from Father Christmas which their children gave them on Christmas morning.
Feedback from the event was exceptional with comments such as ‘magical’, ‘amazing’, ‘safe’ and ‘reminding us of the true meaning of Christmas’. Thank you to all of our supporters who donated presents and to the brilliant bunch of people who took on the role of wrapping well over 1000 presents.
The event will take place again on Sunday 18th December so mark in your diaries if you know of vulnerable families who may need some support and exposure to a safe, magical experience.
